Fred Galves spoke on March 27 at a meeting of the Sacramento
City unified School District board and urged the district administrators
to establish a middle school in Oak Park. His testimony was cited in a
March 31 editorial in the Sacramento Bee.

Fred Galves commented extensively on the viability of on-line
mediation in an article in the April edition of Comstock's magazine
. He
said that while on-line mediation has been successful in the quick
turnaround of settlements, it has done little to instill buyer
confidence.

," has been published in the Southwestern University Law
Review, 36 Sw. U. L. Rev. 723 (2008). It is part of a symposium issue
based on a February 2007 conference in Los Angeles.

 Fred Galves  was a featured speaker at the national ALI-ABA
Eminent Domain conference in San Francisco on Jan 3rd. Fred discussed
the strategic use of high tech graphics in Eminent domain cases, such as
using Google Earth, virtual reality exhibits, computer animations,
digitally enhanced photos, etc., and other high tech graphics in land
condemnation and eminent domain cases.
