The 2008-09 academic year was particularly successful for the Pacific McGeorge Education Pipeline Initiative (EPI). The year culminated with recognition from the State Bar of California, which honored Pacific McGeorge EPI with its first Education Pipeline Award in June 2009. Created in 2008, the Education Pipeline Award recognizes outstanding efforts of law-related educational programs because “without a robust early education pipeline, the ultimate ability to achieve diversity in the legal profession would be minimal at best.”
